Fleet Street

A simple task for today, locate the BBC Shop at BBC Bush House and see a few sights I haven't seen yet. Some photos from my sightseeing.

A little walk down Fleet Street, down Ludgate to St. Paul's Churchyard.

St. Paul's Cathedral built in the late 1600's. This is the fourth
Cathedral dedicated to Paul to sit on this site since 604AD.
This one replaced the one destroyed in The Great Fire of 1666.

Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe.

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, rebuilt here in 1989. Designed
exactly as the one built here in the Elizabethan times.

I may go see a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on Thursday afternoon. They are showing A Comedy of Errors at 2pm and Antony and Cleopatra at 7:30pm. The theatre is built as it would have been in Shakespeare's day, so the floor seating is standing only.
