I Need A Vacation...

...and that's what I'm going to get starting Monday. I'm off to London Monday evening (arriving Tuesday morning at 11:00am GMT). This will be my second trip to Europe this year. My first trip was to Turin for the Olympics in February. There I was hired to work on the relief crew for the host broadcaster and ended up blogging most of the time. More people read that damn blog than I ever imagined.

For this next trip, I've been asked to blog once again; and I intend to. But since it's going to be a vacation, I probably won't be spending as much time on it as I did on my Olympic Blog.

I'm calling it my Euro-Blog and I hope to share a ton of my photos and experiences in it for those who have no life but to read my travel experiences.

On a side note: Today I was buying a few groceries and the woman behind me was talking to the cashier asking how her day was. A conversation I interrupted rudely, but turned out to be a funny coincidence. It went like this:

Cashier: "I'm looking forward to going on vacation on Monday"

Me: "You too? Where are you going?"

Cashier: "Scotland!"

Me: "That's funny. I'm going to London on Monday. Maybe we're on the same flight! British Airways --"

Cashier (interrupting): "Leaving at 6:10pm?"

Me: "Yes!"

Cashier: "Wow. Now that's a funny coincidence!"

Too funny.
